Manufacturer Number:
HIG-3068

Description
HIG-Series is Rally's best-selling foam seal motorcycle eyewear line due to it's lens/frame size that fits both men and women, sports styling, removable gasket seal, excellent anti-fog properties, multiple frame color/lens color options, light weight, and reasonable price.

This specific HIG biker eyewear model features indoor/outdoor mirror anti-fog lens (medium sun filtering) and black frames. Converts from foam seal motorcycle eyewear to open-air everyday eyewear in seconds - foam seal for riding; open-air for everyday-use. Convertible from sunglasses to goggle-style fit; go with temples-only or temples plus retainer strap. For helmet users, temples are straight and small profile - they slip right in between helmet padding and your head. Rubberized, vented nose piece helps with comfort and heat dissipation. Lenses coated with anti-fog treatment. Full protection from harmful UV-A and UV-B rays and eyewear exceeds ANSI Z87.1 front and side high impact standards. Fits and looks great on both men and women.

Comparing HIG-Series with HIGXP-Series motorcycle eyewear? The actual sunglasses are exactly the same. The removable foam seal gasket is where the difference is. HIG has a smaller profile foam seal gasket with less venting and thus less air circulating around the eye. Also, its simply smaller so HIG looks smaller on the face. If you want to make sure you have the minimum amount of eye-tearing at higher speeds; go with HIG. If you prefer more eye air circulation and eye cooling; go with HIGXP. HIG is 2oz lighter than HIGXP however both feel very light. Women most often choose HIG over HIGXP simply due to overall size, although women do purchase both/either eyewear options.

HIG-Series Road Test 7/20/2012 ~ I’ve been very verbal about this series being my favorite – and after hitting the interstate hard at about 70-75mph for several hours, my opinion has not changed – HIG-Series ROCKS! Now, keep in mind that ultimately I prefer foam-sealed eyewear and have no problem with the foam touching my skin – other people hate that. So, long story short, these perform great, do not fog, my eyes do not tear and they’re comfortable. They are vented so the air circulates and your eyes do not get hot. The temples are straight back and I tested them with a helmet…they slide right in and out. I use the retainer strap and like it, however its removable for those who don’t like that. Also, it looks great on me and I haven’t found one person that they don’t look good on – guy or gal – any size head and any shape face. I love this frame!! COMMENTS ON INDOOR/OUTDOOR MIRRORED LENSES ~ I wanted to submit a road test / review on this particular lens “color” because the more I use it; the more I love it. I have to admit that I was not a big sunglass guy before founding this company - I like the brightness of the sun and hate making it look dull and dark in many cases. I’ll admit that many or most people love dark sunglasses - and that’s fine - but for those of us who still want it to look sunny out now have this medium-filtering lens choice. The Indoor/Outdoor Mirrored lenses are available on almost every frame style. They filter 47% of visible light (compared to dark sunglasses which filter 85-ish-%) and filter 70% of blue light which enhances clarity and contrast. In layman’s terms, essentially these lenses remove the harsh and painful brightness of the sun but they still allow life to look sunny…which makes riding more enjoyable mentally. They are mirrored, so they still hide your eyes at a glance or from a distance (however if others really look hard, they can see your eyes a bit). On my road tests I find that I use these in the morning and towards the end of the day (before I switch to night time glasses) and well as when its cloudy and overcast (even I prefer the darker lenses when its super bright sun during the middle of the day). Eventually I may change the name of this lens to “Medium Light Filtering Mirrored Lenses” because that’s exactly what they are. I highly recommend trying a pair of these since most customers buy 3 pairs of eyewear when shopping with us. PLEASE NOTE: This review is done by an employee of Rally - I am the founder/president (just wanted to make sure people knew that I was NOT a customer). Ride safe!!
